  • Is Maropost only for Email Marketing?

    No! Maropost is an omnichannel marketing platform. While our deliverability for email marketing is unparralleled in the market, we also enable our users to leverage other marketing channels in our platform, such as: 

    • Mobile Marketing (SMS Marketing and Push Notifications) 
    • Social Media Marketing 
    • Web Marketing (Web Tracking, Landing Pages and Acquisition Forms) 
  • What support does Maropost offer?

    All customers will have access to 24/7 support via chat or email with the Maropost platform. Maropost provides a full library of how-to articles, recorded and live webinars from our product’s experts and supporting best practices blogs. On top of that, our Professional and Enterprise plans will receive: 

    • Strategic guidance from a dedicated Customer Success Manager 
    • Technical support from a dedicated Deliverability Specialist 
  • How do I know Maropost is a good fit for my business?

    We understand shopping for a new marketing platform can be overwhelming since there are so many different solutions available on the market. Maropost strives to help each account take their customer engagement to the next level. We find our most successful accounts leverage Maropost to:

  • What happens if I exceed my plan’s send limit?

    If you need more emails than your plan’s volume limit, we will continue to support your needs. Any sent emails over your plan’s volume limit will be charged an overage fee per email. Find out more on our pricing page. 

  • Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?

    You may upgrade at any time. Downgrading your plan is available at the end of your existing contract term. 

  • When and how are payments made?

    All Maropost contracts are for a 12-month commitment, since we’ve found that this gives you enough time to be successful.  However, billing can be arranged for monthly, quarterly and annual payments. Arranging payments that suite your business can be done with our finance team available at [email protected]. 

  • What is a package/platform fee?

    Volume and package features can be different. 

  • What are the email volume allotments?

    You can commit to purchasing an annual volume, where you are free to use your email volume at any time within the year (using more during your peak season and less during off season). We also offer packages that allow you to commit to a specific email volume month to month. 

  • What are Dedicated IP’s?

    A dedicated IP allows you to own and control your sending reputation. It is a unique Internet Protocol address assigned exclusively to a single hosting account (you). Alternative solutions use a shared IP’s across multiple accounts, risking one bad apple on the shared IP to spoil the reputation for the whole bunch.  

  • Why do we only take customers with “Opt-In” data?

    In order to market with Maropost, we require all your data lists to be opted-into and cannot allow any purchased lists onto our platforms. Maropost is able to reach the highest levels of deliverability by only accepting accounts that abide by anti-spam regulations. 

FAQ - Commerce Cloud

  • Do you offer a free trial?

    Yes, we offer a 14-day no-obligation free trial for you to build your store and test out the full-featured Commerce Cloud platform (no credit card required). After the trial you will be given the option to sign up.

  • I am looking to switch, is it easy?

    To minimise disruption to your business, we have a number of features to make the switch as simple as possible including data import tools for .csv files and a staging environment. You can either do it yourself or you can speak to our team about options available to you through our network of expert partners

  • Do I need a web host?

    No, you don’t need a web host. You can either opt for a Commerce Cloud plan that includes a secure webstore hosted on Commerce Cloud’s infrastructure with unlimited storage, bandwidth, and DDoS protection. Alternatively, if you’re looking to sell with POS in store or via a marketplace, you don’t need a web host

  • Can I use my own domain name?

    Yes, if you have an existing domain name you can use it with Commerce Cloud. If you don’t have a domain name they are available for purchase from domain providers like Crazy Domains or NameCheap.

    Commerce Cloud can host your DNS or you can host your DNS elsewhere and point your domain to your Commerce Cloud website.
